Transformers 2 Birthday Party Planning

Invitations: Take a picture of your child in his/her Transformers costume and attach to card stock with the caption “Calling All Tranformers”, “The time has come for ____’s Birthday Celebration!” Use red or blue card stock and shape it into an Autobot or Decepticon logo. Another neat idea is to turn the invitation into a colouring contest! An amazing colouring page site is coloring-book.info/coloring/coloring_page.php?id=138 and its 100% free to use. Using full sized envelopes, place 2 or 3 printed off pages inside with a note describing the colouring contest and party details. Let the kids know that all pictures may be coloured for display, but only 1 can be entered into the contest. Do not forget to write “TOP SECRET” in bold, red letters on the front of the envelope and then seal with a Transformers sticker.

Decorations: Everything Red and Blue. For a splash of pizazz throw in some metallic silver! Balloons, Streamers, Tableware and Confetti of all kinds! To give it a real theme look, use some of the fantastic Transformers party supplies readily available in stores and online. Use one focal wall for the Birthday Banner. You can purchase one pre-made or go ahead and make your own using a large roll of paper and some craft paint. Use bold wording like “Happy Birthday” , “Autobots vs. Decepticons” and “Welcome to planet Earth” for your banner. Another great homemade decoration would be to make 2 large symbols of the Autobots and Decepticons logo out of poster paper to display on your wall. The focal wall is a the perfect place to display all of the contest entries! It will look fantastic as decoration as well! If you did not choose that invitation option, be sure to have a colouring center set up for the kids and let them know their masterpieces will be put on display when they are complete. There is nothing a kid loves more than putting their work on display!

Games: Transformers Balloon Blast - Blow up several small balloons and tie them to ribbons before the party. At game time, tie the ribbon with a balloon to each and every player’s left ankle. The idea is to pop the other balloons without getting your own balloon popped. The rules are: No pushing or shoving, you can only step on balloons (no hands) and once your balloon is popped, you must sit out. Once the number of kids gets down to 5 or 6, make the playing area smaller by half. When the final 2 players are left, use a large area rug for the inbound area. The last one with their balloon intact wins! Sonar Hearing - Have one guest blindfolded and sitting alone in front of the group of guests. Keep the player and the group at least 6 feet apart. Have an unknown guest in the group speak the child’s name or any Transformers statement like “Autobots, Roll Out!” in their most Optimus Prime like voice. The twist to make it more fun and challenging is to use one of those voice changers. You can buy them in dollar stores, they come inside of a lot of costume helmets and it even comes as an app of most cell phones! The Blindfolded child must figure out which one of the guests spoke. Its not as easy as you might think!

Pinata & Hunt for the Matrix: Whats a party without a Pinata!?! Let’s combine an already super fun activity with a Treasure Hunt of sorts. The best time to bring out the Transformers Pinata is after food or snack and just before the guests are about to leave. Inside the Pinata along with the candy and favors have about 10 clues written on slips of paper. Along with gathering their treats they are going to find the paper clues. After everything has been picked up, tell the kids that there has been 10 clues hidden in the loot. Their mission is to find the clues and work together to solve the mystery and therefore find the Matrix. When they find the Matrix, they will also find some Transformer treasure! The treasure will be their loot bags but you don’t have to tell them that! Choose an area in you house away from the party area. Lets us a drawer in your daughter’s room for example. Clues can be “Rectangle Shape”, “Girl Uses this”, “White(whatever)”, “Made of Wood”,”Larger than a T.V”, Smaller than… You get the idea! Do not make it obvious because those little ones are pretty darn smart! This will be the perfect end to a perfect party!

I recommended this for all those naturist’s out there who would love the idea of riding off into the sunset on their 18th birthday.

Sky diving or something similar like extreme sports is a very unusual but rewarding way to spend your 18th birthday. I guarantee that if you are in to this type of extreme thrill then you won’t be disappointed. Remember that skydiving isn’t for the faint hearted so if the sight from the top of a flight of stairs gets yours knees a bit wobbly then I would stick to something like indoor skydiving that is available in some cities worldwide.

Place 10: Rent a condo on the beach
Renting a condo or even staying in a hotel on your nearest beach (even if its miles away) can be a very relaxing and cost effective way to get away from your home town but still be in the comfort of your own country. This is one of my personal favourites so if there is a beach near you and you like a good view then spend a night down there. It’ll be worth it.

Noah’s Ark Decorations For a Terrific Toddler Birthday Party!

Noah’s Ark decorations, so inviting that you’ll sail over two-by-two to celebrate. Before you gather the animals and get ready for the flood, check out these Noah’s Ark decoration ideas.

• If at all possible, hold the party on a boat. This “prop” will immediately set the tone for your Noah’s Ark birthday party.
• If a boat just isn’t available, then make a huge ark that covers one of your party room walls. Be sure to add windows to your ark, so you can place a photo of each child attending the party in one of the windows. They will all enjoy seeing themselves “floating” in the ark! Of course, no ark is complete unless you fill it with animals. Attach animal mylar balloons, two of each animal type, to your ark. Finish it off by making wavy blue water from construction paper or cardstock and glue to the ark’s bottom. Add a colorful rainbow and a white dove in the sky.
• Make various Noah’s Ark-related signs and hang them on the walls or place them on yard stakes and line the walkway. Have them say things like “Caution, Flooding Ahead”, “Welcome to (child’s Name)’s Ark”, “Animal Crossing”, etc.
• Cut various animal shapes (two of each animal) from craft foam or construction paper, using animal stencils as your guide and hang them from your ceiling with fishing line.
• Noahs Ark decorations would not be complete without an array of color demonstrated by turning your entire ceiling into a delightful rainbow. Cover it with rows of twisted streamers in all the various colors of the rainbow — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
• Accent your rainbow ceiling further and bring the splendor of this theme to life. Add large clusters of balloons with curling ribbons cascading off them in any combination of the rainbow colors at all the corners of the room.
• Decorate your doorways and archways with streamers by alternating the various colors of the rainbow across the openings.
• Create “rainbow” placemats by gluing ark-shaped pieces of construction paper in the various rainbow colors onto a solid piece of paper. Laminate for stability. This also makes for a great party favor.
• Noahs Ark decorations must include a special centerpiece. Cut the top off a clean 1/2 gallon milk carton. Cover it with wrapping paper. Decorate with Noah’s Ark stickers, or download pictures of Noah’s Ark characters and animals and glue to the sides. Fill with a weighted bouquet of Mylar Noah’s Ark balloons and colorful tissue paper, and accent with curling ribbons.

In this article we’re going to talk about some of the things you can add to your plans to make the party go with a bang such as champagne, fairy cakes and Mexican pinatas. You could include some entertainment such as getting in a local band and what you serve (if you choose to lay on food) will also make a big difference to the atmosphere on the day.

Pinatas are one thing we love right now, so we’d probably recommend them for any party. Because pinatas aren’t quite as common in the UK as they are in the US and Mexico, most guests find them intriguing. They’re a great addition to any party and are simple, affordable and fun!

Children’s’ Parties and Pinatas

Parties for kids are great fun to organise because children demand a lot of games to keep them occupied and out of trouble. As well as the usual party games such as pass the parcel and pin the tail on the donkey why not have a cake decorating competition? You could buy readymade fairy cakes and mix up brightly coloured icing and then let the kids go wild at the dinner table.

If you choose to do a cake decorating competition in this way, we recommend that all the children get a standard prize at the end of ‘judging’ but a winner gets a special badge to show that they won (you might give the award badge to the best behaved child, or the one who made the most effort), that way you’ll avoid too many jealous tantrums.

Another good game for children’s parties comes from Mexico and we love it, they’re really popular overseas and called pinatas. Pinatas are traditionally made of coloured paper and shaped in to interesting objects such as stars, hearts or characters and then they are hung from a tree branch or the ceiling.

You probably have somewhere in your home which is an appropriate place to hang a couple of pis. They are filled with small treats such as sweets and chocolates but you can put anything you like in to them. Kids then line up and take turns to hit pinatas wearing a blindfold. The treats which fall out are then theirs to keep. It’s great fun and can make a party that bit more exciting.

Teen Parties and Pinatas

Pinatas work well for teenagers’ parties too; you can add cool key rings, favourite sweets and all kinds of other things along with confetti or filler. Boys enjoy the challenge of hitting a target blindfolded and girls (for girly teen parties) love little lip glosses, plastic rings and other things you can fill the pinata with. To make girlish pis even more special why not add glitter? And, for a teenage boy you could add anything from little cologne samples and friendship bracelets to guitar plectrums.

Another way to make parties for teenagers even more fun is to have one big event worth paying attention to, so as well as a couple of pinatas, you could let your teenagers (or their friend’s) band play at your house.
